An Opening Message from the Professor
A proud population of over 8’000 Scots inhabit the town of Tullibody, situated in the council area of Clackmannanshire.
With four primary schools located in the town, its safe to say that the copious numbers of children would have to be very determined to avoid an education. Much can be said about the current and future inhabitants of the town, but even more can be said about the great men and women that have populated the town in years gone by. By pillaging historical resources, interviewing local residents and examining public documents, I hope to enlighten you on the rich history of this; the jewel of Scotland.
Coming from a long lineage of historical adventurers, my family have made their bread and butter by enlightening the masses on the minutiae of world history. Having spent decades within the world of academia; two years ago I decided to retire from lecturing and research to pursue my own dream – of funding and building my own historical resource. Pulling on my well worn historical research skills, as well as my winning charm; I hope to fully integrate myself into the community of Tullibody. The overall aim of my being here is to become as important a figure as the people that I will be researching, so that one day I can pass on my work to a young historian who can go on to research me!
